MPHS Pride Boosters
The Pride Booster Board is a vital partner at Mountain Pointe providing financial and volunteer support for school sponsored activities and athletics. Through their membership dues, the Pride Board makes a positive impact on the lives of the staff and students at Mountain Pointe High School. The Pride Board uses membership funds to provide:
* An umbrella unsurance policy for all Parent Booster Organizations.
*Food service permits for the concession stands.
*Start-up funding for all Grad Nite programs, including each new Freshman class.
*Repairs & upkeep of the stadium concession stand.
*Assistance to faculty classroom needs.
*Funds for enhancing student activities at MPHS.
Since 2007, thousands of dollars were approved to help various programs such as helping our health teachers renew their CPR training cards, purchasing 40 padded chairs for our gym facilities with the school name and logo on them, assisting our music programs with a guest composer and purchasing supplies for our Spiritline.
The Pride Board relies on membership dues to be able to help honor staff requests and to be able to support sudent activities/athletics. The membership fee is $20.00 per family. Every booster organization on campus is a part of the Pride Board. This includes all sport programs plus band, spiritline, lacrosse, academic decathlon plus many more organizations. There are 28 parent booster organizations that participated this year. Meetings are held once a month(third Wednesday @ 6PM in Room G103), where fundraising activities are approved and information is shared between booster organizations and the administration. Every Pride Board member has a vote and a voice to help support our school. All Mountain Pointe parents are invited to get involved. You can make a difference!!
